On Thursday September 24, member Idele Gilbert will give a talk entitled "Tips and Tricks for Beading" which is a compilation of things she has learned during her 30 years as the chair of our beading special interest group, the Seaside Beaders.
Bring a pencil and paper to write down tips as no handout is planned.
October 22, 2026
In October we will start work on an "Ugly Sweater" Christmas Ornament.
An example to get you started is below. You can embellish this one or use the pattern to create your own design.
Your kit will contain a pattern for the sweater and wool felt and then use your imagination!
We will vote on the best ornament at the December Christmas lunch. The winner will receive a prize.
November 2026
We have no meeting in November as our regular 4th Thursday meeting day is the Thanksgiving Holiday.
In December, we meet on the 2nd Thursday for our Christmas party and lunch provided by the Chapter. There is an optional (stitched) Ornament Exchange, games, and voting on the best "Ugly Sweater" Christmas ornament we started in October.
