Azure Verde EGA

EGA is a national organization which has as its goals: the fostering of high standards for design, color and workmanship in embroidery; teach the embrodiery arts; and preserving our national needle arts heritage.

What We Do

In addition to our general meetings, the Chapter takes part in workshops, group correspondence courses, and field trips. We New Kid on the Block beginning programs in needlepoint, cross stich, surface embroidery, pulled thread, and hardanger.

We help our community by providing items for premature babies in local hospitals, assisting Girl Scouts with their textile badge requirements; makeing contributions to the battered women's programs through Rainbow Services, and stitching Habitat for Humanity samplers for new homeowners.
